Andaman CEO Inspires Students for General Election 2024 at Law College

The Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. B S Jaglan, along with the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, visit to Law College on the islands to engage with students about the upcoming General Election 2024. The purpose of the visit was to inspire Indian students to become well-informed voters and engage actively in the democratic process.

During the interaction, Mr. Jaglan emphasized to the students the importance of understanding their vote and stressed the significance of casting it responsibly. He underscored the pivotal role of youth in shaping the nation’s future through active participation in elections.

Mr. Jaglan spoke to the students, stressing the significance of a strong voter turnout for the April 19, 2024 election. He urged them to engage in the democratic process by voting in large numbers and making informed choices.

The visit helped students understand how elections work and why it’s important for them to participate as citizens in a democracy. It also showed that the people organizing the elections are committed to making sure everyone knows about voting and gets involved.
