The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is inviting applications for the recruitment of Group C posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India, as well as Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals.

Pay Scale:

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200)
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300)
• Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)

Age Limit (As on 01-08-2024):

Candidates must be between 18 to 27 years old (born not before 02-08-1997 and not later than 01-08-2006).

Educational Qualifications:

1. For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
2. For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

How to Apply:

1. Candidates must generate their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in) if they haven’t already done so. The earlier OTR generated on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be functional.
2. Applications must be submitted online through the SSC website.
3. Candidates must upload a clear photograph and a scanned signature.
4. The last date for submission of online applications is 07-05-2024 (23:00). It’s advised to submit applications well before the deadline to avoid any technical issues.
5. Candidates must ensure correctness of details before submission.

Application Fee:

1. Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only)
2. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from fee payment.
3. Fee can be paid online through various modes.
4. Online fee payment deadline: 08-05-2024 (23:00).
5. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
