Port Blair, April 7, 2024: Mi-17 V5 helicopters belonging to the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) were deployed to tackle a raging forest fire in the Diglipur area. The swift response and multiple sorties undertaken by the ANC helicopters equipped with Bambi buckets proved instrumental in bringing the fire under control.

The ANC, known for its motto Any Task Anytime Anywhere swiftly mobilized resources to combat the wildfire that threatened the pristine forests of Diglipur.
