The ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) is a program run by the Ministry of Defence, which is a part of the central government of India. It was given the green light by the Government of India on December 30, 2002, and began its operations on April 1, 2003.

3. Last Date of receipt of application as per format given at our website: Kindly submit your application, following the required format, along with self-attested photocopies of documents supporting your educational qualifications, work experience, Aadhaar card, and PAN card to the Officer in Charge (OIC), Station Headquarters ECHS Cell, Minniebay, Port Blair-744103, by April 4, 2024, in duplicate. Applications received after April 4, 2024, will not be accepted. Online applications will not be considered.
4. Interview Date, Timing & Venue: Candidates must arrive at the Conference Hall, INS Jarawa, at 10:00 AM from April 15th to April 17th, 2024, for the interview scheduled between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Candidates must bring all original certificates, mark sheets, degrees, including those for 10th grade, 10+2, graduation/post-graduation, diploma courses, work experience, discharge book, Pension Payment Order (PPO), service records, and 2 passport-sized color photographs for the interview. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided. Only candidates who meet the Qualitative Requirements may apply.
